I have decided to take part in Che and Fidel’s ’52 project’ this year. See the beautiful button to the right, designed by this super talented lady. Click on the button to see what it’s all about. I’ve been a fan of Jodi’s beautiful blog for a little while now and I think this is such a lovely idea. If you haven’t already, I suggest you pop on over to Jodi’s blog and have a look at what she’s been up to. I’ll follow Jodi and will post my first portrait on Sunday 6 January.
I’m hoping to find more time to write and read blogs this year. There are so many beautiful blogs out there. The end of 2012 was really quite busy – I started working again (freelance, from home – perfect). I’m really happy to be working again but so thrilled to be able to work and spend every day with Ivy. It really is a dream come true.
I’m looking forward to many things this year – spending time with those I love, more sunny frosty days (less rain please), extended weekends at my parents’ home, the spring, pretty scented bulbs, picnics with my darling sister and my mum, a long early-season summer holiday in France, cooking healthy and delicious food, cups of tea with friends, coffee dates, watching Ivy learn and discover new things all the time, spending time in Bath, London, the New Forest, North Wales…
As far as resolutions go, I don’t really have any. Only to eat more healthily and spend less money on things I don’t really need. I really, really want to learn to knit (pretty sure I said that last year) and would love so much to be able to knit Fair Isle goodies for people next Christmas (bit ambitious maybe).
For now, we have a few more days together before Stu goes back to work on Monday so we’re staying in pjs, watching films, finishing off Christmas food and drinking lots of tea.

Yay! I can’t wait to see yours! I think next year i’ll wait to do mine with everyone else, though a little tweaking never hurt anyone. Your upcoming year sounds absolutely wonderful!
Aw, thanks! I think the 52 project will help me dedicate more time to this space and to stop and appreciate moments with my girl. Your photos are gorgeous. Your kids are so, so cute! :)
